A Sit Down With Ronald Hall

Written by Styling By Chi

A few months back FashionAFRICANA was privileged to visit the beautiful 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at the Manhattanville Malt House in Harlem, New York. This fair was composed of talent people only dream of meeting. Well, this past week dreams came true! We were given the honor of meeting Pittsburgh native, and I-54 featured artist Ronald Hall. Ronald Hall is a thought-provoking multi-media artist whose work uniquely pairs the juxtaposition of fiction and nonfiction challenging dominant conceptions of the African American experience. The FashionAFRICANA team took a trip to the Ronald Hall studio in Brooklyn NY to speak with him about his artistic journey and the work that we’ve all come to know and love. Ronald Hall is the epitome of veracity and authenticity, and we’re grateful to have highlighted him on the FashionAFRICANA platform and experienced his grace in person. Learn more about Ronald and experience his art today!
