London To Africa Fashion

Written by Styling By Chi

As lovers and curators of fashion, art, and all things style, we must show our support for these amazing artists in person at exhibits, pop-ups, and mixers. It’s important my readers, that you know who and what you’re supporting in FashionAFRICANA. FashionAFRICANA is not only a curator of all things art, fashion, and style, but they are also reverent supporters of it. FashionAFRICANA will travel high and low to show up for those who are making this world brighter and bolder. It seems like yesterday, FashionAFRICANA took on London and Paris to show love and support to award-winning and haute couture designers Paul G.Tazewell, Imane Ayissi, and Philip Treacy and participate in programming for the Africa Fashion exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Spanning iconic mid-20th century to contemporary creatives through photographs, textiles, music, and the visual arts, the Africa Fashion exhibit explores the vitality and global impact of a fashion scene as dynamic and varied as the African continent itself. This time is no different! Why, you may wonder? Well, I’ve got you covered! Today, June 23, 2023, FashionAFRICANA takes on the Africa Fashion exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum to support Black creativity and shower a generation of global visual waymakers with love and appreciation. Every artist, curator, and creative needs organizations like FashionAFRICANA in their corner for countless reasons. One of the main is this; it’s beautiful to create art, but it’s mesmerizing to cultivate a community for artistry. Join FashionAFRICANA at the Brooklyn Museum for a memorable experience at the Africa Fashion exhibit!
